FAQ
How do we book you?
Step 1: You can start by filling out the contact form to provide details including your wedding or event date, location, and telling me a bit about what you are looking for!
Step 2: I’ll follow up to send you a email and schedule a time to chat via Google Meet, so you have the opportunity to ask any questions and so I can get to know the two of you a little bit more!
Step 3: I'll send you a quote after the meeting. If you decide you would like to move forward with securing the date, I will send an agreement form for your review and submission as well as a request a 25% retainer to hold the date.
What is your travel fee policy?
Travel is included within 50 miles of Livermore, CA. For anything beyond that, there’s a $2 fee per extra mile(one-way).
If your wedding is farther away, no worries—I’ll make sure to provide you with an exact travel quote so there are no surprises!
Do you have backup gear?
Absolutely! There is always a backup camera body in my bag. My camera also saves photographs to two separate memory cards while shooting, ensuring your memories are captured safely.
I also bring multiple batteries and memory cards to every wedding. Your day is too important to risk equipment failure.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, as your professional wedding photographer, I keep the copyright to the images. But don’t worry! You’ll always get a full print release, which means you can share, print, and enjoy your photos however you’d like for personal use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I love being able to share the joy of your day. It helps my art business grow and inspires other couples who are planning their weddings. That said, your comfort always comes first. If you’d prefer to keep your photos private, just let me know and I’ll happily respect your wishes. But I hope you’ll agree that your photos are amazing enough to share!
What’s your policy on taking breaks? Do we need to provide a meal?
I do not require, or even prefer, a meal break. I typically take a couple of very short breaks during quiet moments to have water and a small snack. I prefer not to sit and eat a large meal while working because I don’t want to miss anything. Plus, the camera gets sticky.
Do you provide raw and unedited photos?
The short answer? No.
On a full wedding day, I take 3,000–10,000+ photos — which can take up 90GB–300GB+ of memory! That includes test shots for white balance, duplicates, and the occasional moment when someone blinks or a guest walks through the frame (it happens more than you’d think!).
Part of my job as your photographer is to sort through all that chaos and pick the very best images that tell the story of your day. What you’ll receive is a thoughtfully curated collection that captures every laugh, tear, and beautiful detail, without having to wade through near-duplicates or awkward test shots.
Quality over quantity, always. You can trust that you’re getting the absolute best moments of your big day.
*If you’d like to see even more photos, feel free to contact me about add-on extra edited images!
